Will C. Wood junior star Kobe Rolling is the 2020 FC Davis High School All-Area Boy's Player of the Year presented by Woodstock Pizza.
The skillful and versatile midfielder scored 17 goals while adding 15 assists on the season which saw the Wildcats battle to the CIF Sac-Joaquin Section 2020 Boy's Soccer Division III state semi-final.
Let's catch up with our 2020 All-Area Boy's Player of the Year recipient, Kobe Rolling:
Q: How do you feel this season went for yourself?
A: Awesome! I set a goal with my sister Kylie Rolling (twin) to win Monticello Empire League MVP honors and we accomplished this together. We have been told this is the first time ever. Got interviewed by local KUIC radio and that was really fun.
Q: What was your most memorable moment from the 2019/2020 season?
A: Assisting our backup goal keeper as he scored the game winning goal in the first round of the CIF Section Playoffs.
Q: What are you going to miss most about high school soccer?
A: The seniors on my team! They were a big part of my success this season. As a junior I get one more run at the CIF title.
Q: What is one thing you would change about your season?
A: Losing in the CIF Section Final Four. My team worked so hard this season.
Q: Favorite clothing brand?
A: Nike.
Q: Who is your favorite teacher?
A: Mr. Anthony Smith at Golden West Middle School.
Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Mexican Food
Q: Who is your favorite musical artist?
A: Roddy Rich or Tory Lanez.
Q: One place you want to visit?
A: The Bahamas.
Q: Nike or Adidas?
A: Nike.
Q: What do you plan to study in college?
A: Fire Science or Education.
Q: What are your goals for next season?
A: As a senior next year, I plan to win the CIF Section title.
