Davis, California - FC Davis is set for their much-awaited season opener against San Ramon FC in opening week of National Premier Soccer League action. The match is scheduled for Sunday, April 1st at 7:00 PM in San Ramon. The match will be played at Tiffany Roberts Stadium.
After a successful preseason which saw the Lions defend the Milk Can Trophy, the team is eager to take on San Ramon FC to being 2023 league play. Kris Hall returns to the bench for his third season with a line up full of talent that includes a foundation of returning players alongside 13 new squad additions. With incoming talent from UC Davis, Sacramento State, SF State and Chico State, the Lions will look to claim their third league title in four years.
The Lions last met San Ramon FC in 2019, playing them twice in the regular season. Both times the Lions were victorious 3-2.

The Lions' home opener takes place on Saturday, May 6th at 7:00 PM when Sacramento Gold visit town for the 2023 Causeway Clasico.
